In order to reach out to the surrounding community and those in need, three meals are served weekly to anyone who comes to the church annex.
Through the Food Panty, a bag of groceries is also distributed on a consistent basis to those who attend the lunches or who request them.
The hot lunch provides a nutritious meal and a place to socialize where they feel welcome.
In return, some have become regulars at our Sunday fellowship, where they enjoy receiving a hot cup of coffee and a welcoming word from parishioners. Some attend church services on a regular or occasional basis.
The presence of our neighboring friends allows us to do God’s work in taking care of the needy, while providing a valuable and rewarding service to our neighbors.
